A couple of psychs say i may have possible BPD. It all seems to fit, but no psych or dr i see now takes me seriously. A few seem to think after seeing me for 1 visit say i don't. HOW the fuck can someone say that after 1 visit and not knowin my history etc?!
Maybe i don't..but i just want it ruled in or out grrr!

I would suggest speaking to your doctor and seeing what they say. And yeah, it can be rough when you're in love and something makes it harder for you.

stumbled acroos this..i'm a psychiatry resident in nyc and some reccomendations: see a psychiatrist, if they dont take you seriously see someone else. if in crisis, go to nearest emergency room, see psyhiatrist on call and get referral to outpatient treatment. THere is treatment for bordeline personality disorder in the forms of therapy and medication for symptom control. THe most common therapy is dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) developed by Marsha Linehan in Spokane.

Great video! BPD is very harsh. Ive had it for as long as I can remember. I have greatly recovered in the past couple years after having some group therapy and researching its symptoms. Just learning about what it is was very beneficial for me. I still experience the symptoms occasionally, most often when I am not around other people, but it is a lot easier for me to deal with now than it was three years ago. Anyways good luck to you :)
