wake up, he was going almost 300 miles an hour. sure a tyre blowing at about 60-70mph is controllable but over 3 times quicker. you don't know, you haven't driven a car at 300 miles an hour with a tyre popping. you've just embarrassed yourself.

put it this way.a friend hit me in his jap subaru doing 100mph.he had hit stone in the road and it burst his tyre.he lost control and put me in the central resovation.so believe me a popd tyre can make u loose control at anything from 100mph+

man some people are stupid, sky news for reporting "facts" that are inaccurate and charlesz3 for thinking it was due to driver skill, i think the fact that its a race car makes each tyre more important not less if that's what he was trying to argue,
if you read the book you see that due to the wind the steering had to be at a 30degree angle just to go straight so dont talk shit about it being designed to go straight coz there's different factors involved that each tyre has a huge impact on.
