I've seen this show and I enjoy it, but this prank genuinely throws me. Who on earth thought it up, let alone gave it the go-ahead? Even if it was staged (and I'm only saying that because the alternative is infuriating), isn't the target audience people who like cars? Who did they think would find it funny to watch a newly-restored car get smashed? That said, I do wish they'd do another series, provided they vet their humor more carefully next time.

A11 RFT was the same GT4 used by Hammond on the 'cheap Italian supercar' challenge on Top Gear. Since the car had pretty much had it on the show, I think it's a safe bet that they just used it as a prop on here and it's sat outside the TG studio rusting.

To be fair, doesn't hammond have like 6 cars or something? and it wasn't too much damage anyway. I think the funniness outweighs the cruelness.
