That's an interesting choice of background music. I am borderline and I've liked Marilyn Manson since I was a teenager. Manson's music helped me a lot to go through incredibly dark times, especially "Antichrist Superstar" - the album this sing's from... In fact, it was one of the few things that kept me going. So, when people say his music is "depressing" or "evil", I just laugh at them))

BPD's please if you have any personal relationships with anyone you care about have them go to a psych who is well versed in BPD and they are rare but do exist. Do this before you accidentally hurt them.

Lazy This disorder does exist I lived with a person who had person who had this. While I can agree with you and some Drs. would too, that bi-polar and ADD us way OVER DIAGNOSISED and way too many too drugs given out for this disorder. I think BPD is much more common than people even know and most BPD's hate and won't take the meds that will help them. Most BPD's self medicate with alcohol or street drugs. My BPD ex-wife is now drinking her self to death and ruining other ppls lives.

Who decides it needs to be 'five or more of the following'. Why not 4? Or 3? Making diagnosis in this way is hardly what I'd call scientific.

I think you'll find that 6, 7, 8 and 9 are also the majority. I ask again: why 5 specifically. This is not how medicine works. I doesn't happen that you get diagnosed with a UTI if you have 4 symptoms but not if you present with 3 only. This is astrology like pseudoscience!
