i did something like that to. i was protesting in vienna at the 16.6. and we (only 10 people :( ) handed out our flyers. suddenly some scientologysts showed up and two of them went right the other two went left and they handed out their own flyers. and everytime somebody with a scien flyer got past me i went after him and told him that the flyer he had (witch was called way to happiness) is from scien and 80% of those people i told that throw their flyers away or gave it to me^^.
